Jonestown.

I've been trying to study lately. i still cant believe that my O's examinations is right up next week. its so unbelievable.

as usual, Saturday morning was basketball with the seniors. brought Marcus along this time. and it rained! must be Marcus la. lol. anyway, it was quite a waste of time cause it rained after we started playing for an hour or so.

marcus came over to slack and did some work after which. my tuition teacher came at 3, so i chased him out of the room. he took a amaths book out, but i realised that he was sleeping at the couch by 10mins. LOL.

we got to simei after tuition and i got my hamsters! finally, cause they're so dam adorable. okay, i got a male and female. because i want them to mate. hahahah. i want them to have babies. hahaha. its quite expensive because you have to buy a lot rubbish for them. like their bedding, and bath sand. hahaha. actually my hamsters have quite a good life. hahah.

Marc and i got down to my new place, Bedok Reservoir. okay, our plan was to study! and we did. we got a little tired by 12, and went down for supper. initial plan was to come up and watch a show before studying again. but sadly, i fell asleep even before we took disc2 out. haha. cock la, then i wasted my night.

we woke up around 12 on Sunday. haha. then we walked over for brunch. okay this is dam hilarious. i asked Marc what he wanted to have, and he said, "chicken rice lor, see so much people queuing up. " i said, " fine." okay, the queue was about 12 people long. and the progress was so slow..... marc was queueing, and i sat down, ordered drinks and his bean curd. two girls sitting next to me was talking. girl A said, "how come the queue so long for the chicken rice?" B said, "no lah, that long queue is for takeaway, if eating here just tell them what you want.
Me "-.-" went over and told Marc and we were like wtfsssXZXZXxszx. we waited like what 20mins? lol. dam stupid.

got back to the house after brunch and then studied again. we got tired and started playing the PS. lol. left at 6 plus and got back to simei. initially i wanted to go back to Pet Safari to change my hamsters, because they don't seem to get along. haha. but the guy explained to me, that they're just new to the environment and so so. so i didn't change them away, because i had some sort of feelings for them already. went to play an hour of lan and had dinner at breeks. nothing fabulous though. got home and slacked. lol. watch Jonestown at 12am. while Marc was also watching at his place. lol.

it was a really good documentary. this town in America, some 908 people committed suicide against their will. 300 of which were children. Jonestown was led by Jim Jones, and he was an eccentric retard, he was similar to Hitler.

he had all the phones, radios and televisions all destroyed. the people living inside had no communications to outside Jonestown. and Jonestown is situated in the middle of the jungle, hence it was dam tough for anyone to escape. besides, Jim Jone's' man were located almost everywhere with arms. Jim Jones is god dam sick. cases of residents that committed suicide inside Jonestown, raised the awareness of the welfare committee of the US. where they sent congressmen to investigate whether the residents were happy staying in Jonestown. but Jim Jones totally brainwash them with propaganda, or i would say a cult. they residents had to rehearse many times about what they had to say to the congressmen when interviewed. some said, " it was the best thing that has happened in their life, because in Jonestown you get everything" they even had to smile, it was so disgusting, cause they were forced to say all these, if not they'd get murdered. the congressmen came and investigate, realizing that many are happy (which actually they are not), but there are also many that wanted to leave (known as defectors). when the congressmen left, they brought about 20 defectors away on a small airplane. while they were boarding the plane, Jim Jones sent his men to murder the congressmen and defectors. it was fucking sick and sad. after that firing session which killed almost all was complete, Jim Jones again managed to talked "sense" into the rest staying in Jonestown. he said the congressmen were liars and never to believe what they said. and the defectors were betrayers. since they (Jonestown) were betrayed, why not everyone die since its such a horrible place. he had his men prepared a fruit drink while inside, its mixed with all sorts of poison. like cyanide. he had the children take the drink, influencing the people that its just taking a fruit drink. the children died first, then the adults had to consume that "fruit drink", those who refused were forced to take the jab. either way, you have to DIE.

after everyone took the poison, Jim Jones shot himself in the head and died from a single gunshot wound in his head. because of him, 908 people died. its so dam sick. i cant believe it, at the same time, i feel for the people living then. their environment infiltrated with propaganda, no communication and within them were friends who were holding guns pointing inwards. everyone had no choice, they were all destined to lay their life down. its so terrifying.

right now at this point of time, there's no one that can do anything other than sympathizing with them. so sad, i hope they can rest in peace.
