to see what i call players.
had 2.4 on tuesday last week. i came in 7th and k.c 3rd. this is the best in basketball. quite embarrassing to lose to uniform groups. anyway, i'm satisfied with my result and i'm sure i clock below 9minutes. concentration and rhythm's really important. thats crucial for me.
i had a hard time running, it's just pain, everywhere.
me and chunyong went over to andrea's place to gym and swim on national day, but decided not to when we got there, cause there were just too many people at the pool. so we laze around till 6 before watching the NDP. Mr. Gani is great, too great a performer. saw andrea to her grand's place at 8 with alphonse. we got to make sure he got there, ended up andrea stuck in the house too. so me and chunyong got back to bedok ourselves for dinner. we dont blame you! haha.
9th august, thursday. school holiday. met andy and leon at simei at 1pm. couldn't enter raiders lan, so we turned to valley8. chunyong came after a while and we played pool. we saw cally and her friend across table. so leon got turned on upon seeing that friend. hahaha. that friend got turned on too, so she called leon over for a game. haha. it was dam funny. nevermind. left after 3games, we headed down to peninsula and met andrea. went to look for shoes and walked down to suntec. ended up in addidas playing Xbox360. haha. we spent like 30mins playing the soccer game. embarrasing but we dont care. lol.
friday, school was nothing interesting. but working at indoor stadium in the afternoon is what we all have been looking forward to. 16 ballers head down to the stadium at 2pm and got ready. saw singapore slingers practising at the court already. this job is really cool, we get really close to players we never thought of seeing. of all teams, i love spain. they're just great. they play good offense, tight defense and quick fast breaks. they're not the team with the biggest of size but they all played with style. my favourite player for the whole tournament, Juan Carlos Navarro. he got the MVP in the end though. they're other really great players with great personalities, Pau Gasol from Spain and Ben Knight from Singapore Slingers are great examples.
there're other players which i really admire, Lakovic, Udrih and Nesterivic from Slovenia, Jose Calderon and Rudy from Spain.
we've got to know this really great boss, Bruce. this guy is great. you would never be any happier if you have him taking care of you. he never fails to praise you everytime you get something done. he gets you motivated, just pleasant to work for him. the diplomatic yet firm way he put certain things across us is just motivating. if i'm ever going to be a boss or leader in anyway, i'm going to learn to be Bruce. one of the best guy i come across in my life.
so we had fun working like that. i'm kinda addicted to this job. i'm always thinking of the matches every now and then. and i'm used to seeing Bruce and working in the air-conditioned court. i had funa nd enjoyed working with huiwen, chunyong, shanmin, magdalene, jollene. the rest, i didn't have much chance to work together with.

went to bedok for dinner with wei xiong after that. we really ate. a lot a lot. we were dam tired and took a cab home in the end. great time with him. great senior.
i was toooooo tired for school on monday. so i decided not to come. initially, me, chunyong, magdalene, k.c and grace decided not to come. but all were forced to school by their mums, except me and k.c. but weehoe and wenqi didn't turn up in the end. ended up meeting andrea for dinner at night then we studied till 10.30 before she left. but i carried on studying with magdalene till around 11.20pm.
school today wasn't any great. good to see classmates again. but i was really disappointed with biology. could have got a A1 but got a B3 in the end. i knew the answers, i knew how to do the questions at my fingertips, but i was careless. which caused the whole question 4marks, its upon 50, so when converted, its 8marks. i was just just just just just so so sooooooooo disappointed. i couldn't take it so i went to the toilet. after a few periods later, i tried to change my mood. i dont want to affect my friends.
anyway, i'll do better for the next test and i wont be careless!
had chemistry test on last period and had to stay back after school for e maths test. cause i didn't come on monday. huiwen wait for my test to end, before going down to the court with k.c. me and huiwen couldn't wait for training, cause we were sooo motivated after working 3days watching all the stars play. we just want to play like them. anyway, we tried and although we still played much louiser than those stars, but at least i think we improved playing like that. i hope more of this training would come and i would definitely work hard with you Huiwen!
went to 85 for dinner after training. got home with jasper, liangkai, hongkai, yi cheng, chunyong, lee cheng and vivien. all took 17. got home and blog.
